The Integrity of distributed networks demands that backup ISDN or PSTN traffic paths are available should primary ISDN or xDSL routes become inactive.

Frequently many different systems are used and therefore it becomes difficult to be assured that fallback paths are available and working reliably when they are called on to come into use.

Most importantly the reliability and availability of these backup paths can not be truly assessed unless real traffic is generated and monitored over time to identify their status. This is where the Emutel™ |Harmony traffic comes into its own.

Sitting on your network it can be programmed to make scheduled test calls to the routers/nodes on your network and chart the performance of your fallback traffic paths over time.

The tests will return the ISDN cause value for each call and tabulate the results in a csv format file for download or display them using the simple web browser interface.
